The session included analyst coverage, economic and political update on the region with a focus on Russia and CIS presented by Eurasia Group, and a panel discussion. For the panel discussion, industry executives talked about their experiences in entering the market and operating in the region, dealing with local authorities, and shared specifics and opportunities for other Canadian companies planning to expand in the Eurasian market. It was a mixed audience of investment community on Bay street and exporting business interested or already doing business in Eurasia including KPMG clients and CERBA members. The goal of the event was to increase awareness about business opportunities in the region.
